SmartHood is a modern Chrome Side Panel extension that helps homebuyers and expats understand a property beyond the listing — instantly.

When you open a property page on Zillow or Funda.nl, SmartHood automatically extracts key listing details and lets you run AI-powered analysis with one click.

Property extraction (Zillow & Funda.nl): Automatically captures listing data (address, price, beds/baths, size, description, etc.)

Property navigation history: Tracks up to 10 recently visited properties with correct images (most recent first) for quick revisit or analysis

AI analysis: Actionable pros/cons, neighborhood vibe, and plan-based enhanced insights

Nearby places (plan-based): Top-rated POIs with ratings and distances (Google Places)

Enhanced expat tips: 2–3 practical sentences with local customs, services, and transportation advice

Advanced tools: Risk scan, negotiation strategy, renovation estimates, cost breakdown, and future value prediction

How authentication works
SmartHood uses the same secure session as the SmartHood web app via cookie-based Clerk authentication (no separate extension login needed). The extension only makes requests when you’re signed in to the web app.
