About
What sets this extension apart from others? - Most browser extensions have notifications hidden away in menus or repurpose existing features of X, making them either annoying or easy to ignore. - Xwatch puts your usage info right where you look: in the feed/timeline as a native post. - Gives you the prompt to analyze your usage pattern with Groq and get actual feedback by providing the posts visited and time spent. What does this extension do? It records your scrolling activity, posts visited and time spent in the background and at regular intervals, it inserts a summary post in your feed. What is this summary post and what does it contain? - It's the summary of your X/Twitter usage happened in a given day. Resets everyday - It shows time spent, number of posts seen, average time per post and Book pages (if you had read a book, how many pages you could have covered, just a little perspective) - Analyze with Groq button - You click it and your usage summary is copied to clipboard. Then you just paste in on Groq AI, it crunches those into a beautiful insight and tells you whether you doom scroll or not. It doesn't stop there, it even recommends what you could do to use X/Twitter mindfully and avoid doom scrolling. What this extension does not do? - It doesn't collect data nor track it. - All the activity happens in your browser locally. - No login required , so I don't even know who is using my extension. - Does not annoy you by randomly inserting the post while you are reading a thread - It does not stop you from using X/Twitter nor it shows any other notification. Why to use this extension at all? Once could simply stop using X/Twitter: - When you are able to stop using it then there is no need for this extension at all. One less extension for your browser. - However, use it to analyze your usage patterns. Its definitely makes you mindful of the content you consume. Features: - Smart Time Tracking : It pauses when you switch tabs or minimize the window. - Mindful Metrics : Gives you a tangible sense of the time you have invested as book pages - X native : Adapts to X's native design and theme and blends with your timeline. - Respects conversational flow : Detects conversations and only places stats cards after it ends. - Analyze with Groq :Get insights on your consumption patterns. - Privacy Focused : Operates 100% locally with in your browser with no tracking. Note from the developer: Love to hear your feedback.
