Tape is a screen recorder built for people who replay the play.

Click the toolbar icon, pick your source (current tab, full screen, cam-only, or both), and roll. When you cut, Tape's AI listens to the audio and writes "the read" — a real transcript, three to five key takeaways, action items, chapter markers, and a smart-trim suggestion that flags filler regions you can cut with one click.

THE EXTENSION
This Chrome extension is a thin recording-controls layer for tape.anatainc.com — the web app where your tapes live, get summarized, and get shared. The extension lets you:
- Roll a recording from any page (toolbar icon or ⌘⇧R / Ctrl+Shift+R)
- Jump to your library from anywhere (⌘⇧L / Ctrl+Shift+L)
- See yourself in the cam bubble preview before you roll
- Compose the dock controls to your preferred position

PRIVACY
Recordings stay yours. We don't train AI on your captures. Transcripts pass through OpenAI Whisper; AI summaries pass through Anthropic Claude; both providers contractually commit to not training on API content. Full policy at tape.anatainc.com/privacy.
