About

ContextPass is a privacy-first wallet for your shopping preferences. You set your sizes, colors, styles, and budget once, and the extension highlights products that match — on Nordstrom, Revolve, Allbirds, Shopify stores, anywhere.

Everything runs locally on your device. The extension does not phone home, does not track your browsing, does not run analytics, and does not load remote code. If your laptop is offline, it still works.

WHAT IT DOES

- Scans the page you're on and adds match badges to products that fit your wallet
- "Scan all pages" extends the scan across an entire product collection (10+ pages) in the background
- A floating widget shows you "Tagged 8 of 117 on this page" with a one-click filter to bring matches to the top
- Heart icon on every product to save it for later — saved items follow you across devices if you sign in
- Hover any badge to see exactly which preferences matched (size, color, style, budget, etc.)

WHY IT'S DIFFERENT

Most personalization works by tracking you across the web and inferring what you want from your behavior. ContextPass works the opposite way: you tell it what you want, and it surfaces matches without sharing anything about you with the merchant unless you tap to share.

- No behavioral tracking, ever
- No advertising, ever
- Merchants see only the specific fields you tap to share, on the specific site you tapped on
- You can use the extension entirely without an account
- Optional sign-in adds cross-device sync (preferences and saved items)

HOW TO START

1. Pin the extension to your toolbar
2. Click the icon, fill in a couple of preferences (size, favorite colors, budget)
3. Visit any shopping site — Nordstrom, Allbirds, Revolve, your favorite Shopify store
4. Watch the matches light up
