About

Tokime is a Japanese reading tool for learners (mostly beginners). Just select the text with a key (Ctrl or Alt) and the text will be formatted based on your configuration. 

It has furigana, meaning in hover and visual colors based on the frequency of the word (JPDB) or by JLPT levels (frequency is recommended). 

To fully start the app, just install, click the button to download the dictionary and reload the page on first install, that's it. 

— no data sent to servers. 

Built for learners:
Tokime is designed for beginner to intermediate Japanese learners. Select a sentence, see every word annotated, hover what you don't know.

This is a personal project and accessible in GitHub. Any question or issue go to the main repo.
