SkillsLLM Badge adds a small, native-looking badge to every GitHub repository page. The badge tells you at a glance whether the repo is in the SkillsLLM catalog — and if it is, what category it's in, what the latest security scan says, and how the community has voted.

WHAT IT DOES

For repositories already in SkillsLLM:
• Category label (AI Agents, MCP Servers, CLI Tools, etc.)
• Security scan status (Passed / Warnings / Failed) from the daily Semgrep + dependency-audit pipeline
• Community vote count
• One-click link to the full SkillsLLM page with installation, comments, and related skills

For repositories not yet in SkillsLLM:
• "Submit to SkillsLLM" call-to-action that opens the submission form with the URL pre-filled

HOW IT WORKS

The badge is added to GitHub's repo header alongside the Watch / Star / Fork buttons. It respects GitHub's light and dark themes and styles itself to look native to the page. SPA navigation between repos is handled — no full page reload needed.

PRIVACY

The extension reads only the URL of the current GitHub page (to extract owner/repo) and makes one anonymous HTTPS request to skillsllm.com per repo page. No cookies, no auth, no telemetry, no third parties. No chrome.storage, no localStorage. Full policy: https://skillsllm.com/privacy

WHO IT'S FOR

Developers using Claude Code, Codex CLI, ChatGPT, or any AI coding assistant who browse GitHub for new skills, MCP servers, agents, and AI tooling. The 100-star quality minimum on SkillsLLM means the badge filters out most low-effort repos automatically.
