About

Ever wonder who's watching when you browse?

Every time you visit a website, dozens of invisible third parties silently receive your data — trackers, ad networks, analytics services, social media widgets, and more. Most users have no idea this is happening, and existing tools only show you dry lists of blocked domains.

Tracker Detector changes that. It gives you a real-time, interactive graph that reveals every third-party connection the moment it happens — so you can actually see the web of surveillance behind every page you visit.

What it does:

Intercepts every network request your browser makes and identifies which ones go to third parties
Classifies each domain into clear categories: Trackers, Ad Networks, Analytics, CDNs, Social Media, Video/Media, and Consent tools
Displays everything as a live, color-coded force-directed graph with your current site at the center
Updates in real time — watch new connections appear as the page loads resources
Hover over any node to see detailed info: request count, data size, resource types, and when it was first seen
Take control — block what you don't want:

Open the settings panel and toggle blocking for entire categories with one click
Block trackers and ad networks while keeping CDNs and analytics running, or block everything — your choice
Hit "Apply & Reload" to see the difference immediately
Your blocking preferences are saved and persist across sessions
Categories at a glance:

Red — Trackers (Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Criteo, Segment, and 40+ more)
Orange — Ad Networks (AdSense, AppNexus, Amazon Ads, and more)
Blue — Analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, and more)
Green — CDNs (Cloudflare, Akamai, CloudFront, jsDelivr, and more)
Purple — Social (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn embeds)
Teal — Video/Media (YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia)
Yellow — Consent tools (CookieBot, OneTrust)
Gray — Other unclassified third parties
Why install Tracker Detector?

Unlike traditional blockers that work silently in the background, Tracker Detector makes the invisible visible. It's built for anyone who wants to understand what's really happening when they load a webpage — whether you're a privacy-conscious user, a developer auditing your own site, or just curious about how the modern web works.

No data leaves your browser. No accounts. No telemetry. Everything runs locally.
