PRIVACY (PLEASE READ)

Chrome will ask for a permission labeled "Read your browsing history" when you install or update this extension. We do NOT read, store, or sell your Chrome browsing history. That wording is Chrome's generic label for the "tabs" permission, which we use only as follows:

• On ClinicalTrials.gov and EUClinicalTrials.eu: read the trial identifier from the page URL (NCT or EU CT number) so the toolbar popup can star that study and show its trend previews (US) or document-version history (EU).

• On EUClinicalTrials.eu: on the "Trial documents" tab, read the listed document titles in your browser to place an inline badge showing how many earlier versions Obi9 has on file. That page text is used only locally to position the badge; it is never uploaded.

We only run on these sites: clinicaltrials.gov, euclinicaltrials.eu, and our own API at biotech.obi9.ai. We do NOT access OTHER websites or your browsing history.

WE DO NOT USE THIRD-PARTY ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, OR TRACKING IN THE EXTENSION. WE DO NOT LOAD REMOTE CODE.

SENT TO OBI9 (our servers only, at biotech.obi9.ai). This information is used solely to provide and support the service (authenticate you, load the trial data you request, and save your starred trials). It is NOT used for any other purpose: no advertising, no selling or sharing with third parties, and no AI or machine-learning model training.

• Your email address and the 6-digit code, when signing in
• A login token (JWT) issued to you on sign-in, sent with each request so the extension can call Obi9 APIs on your behalf
• Trial identifiers from the page you are on (NCT or EU CT number), used to load that trial's trend previews / document-version history and to star it
• Notes you add to a starred trial
• Normal request info our servers log for any API call (e.g. time, IP address; see privacy policy)

NOT SENT TO OBI9

• Your Chrome browsing history or a list of sites you visit
• Page content from ClinicalTrials.gov or EUClinicalTrials.eu (we only use the trial ID from the URL; the EU document titles read for the badge stay on your device)
• Data to advertisers, analytics companies, or other third parties
