  YOU STAY IN CONTROL

  The extension is off by default. It does not inspect videos or collect video audio until you explicitly enable it for the current website.

  When you select “Enable and check,” the extension first checks whether the active video uses a compatible media format. Audio is not
  uploaded during this compatibility check. If the video is supported, the extension can begin generating subtitles while the video plays.

  You can disable the extension separately for each website at any time.

  HOW TO USE

  1. Open a video on a website.
  2. Click the extension icon.
  3. Select “Enable and check.”
  4. Choose the spoken language or use automatic detection.
  5. Select the language you want to read.
  6. Choose Original, Bilingual, or Translation mode.
  7. Play the video and follow the synchronized subtitles.

  PRIVACY

  When live subtitles are enabled, the audio required for caption generation and the resulting caption text are sent securely to the subtitle
  service and its configured AI processing provider.

  The extension does not sell personal data or use captured audio, captions, or browsing information for advertising.

  CURRENT LIMITATIONS

  Compatibility depends on how each website delivers its video and audio. Some videos may not be supported.

  The current version does not support:

  • DRM-protected or members-only media
  • Live streams
  • Short-form video modes such as Shorts
  • MPEG-TS streams
  • Sequence-mode media buffers
  • Multiplexed fMP4 streams

  If a website or video is not currently compatible, you can send feedback through the extension to request future support.
