GreenMaxing Toolbar — AI candidate scoring, one-click tagging, and bulk rejection emails, right inside Greenhouse.

GreenMaxing Toolbar adds a docked productivity panel to your Greenhouse recruiting pages so you can score, tag, and clear out a candidate pipeline in a fraction of the clicks — without ever leaving the review screen. It runs entirely in your own browser, on your own logged-in Greenhouse session, and (for the optional AI features) under your own AI API key. There is no developer server in the middle: your candidate data never touches our infrastructure, because we don't operate any.


WHAT IT DOES

The toolbar reads the candidate you're already viewing and surfaces a clean snapshot — name, source, salary, work authorization, location, tags, and a one-click résumé/LinkedIn view — then gives you fast, keyboard-friendly actions for the parts of screening that normally eat your afternoon: scoring for fit, tagging, and sending rejections in bulk.


AI CANDIDATE SCORING (optional, bring-your-own-key)
• Get an AI fit score, a plain-English rationale, and a per-criterion breakdown for the candidate on screen.
• You define what "a fit" means per role: paste or auto-pull the job description, then add need-to-haves, hard dealbreakers, soft negatives, and free-text scoring notes. Scores reflect YOUR bar, not a generic guess.
• Choose your provider — Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT), or Google (Gemini) — and paste your own API key. Available models load into a dropdown automatically.
• Optional "auto-score" scores each candidate the moment you open them, so the score is waiting when you arrive.

AUTO-RANK A WHOLE STAGE
• Score and rank every candidate in a stage in one pass, then sort by fit and jump to the strongest matches.
• See an up-front estimate (time + rough cost) before it runs, and "calibrate" on two candidates first to sanity-check the scoring against your criteria.
• Automatically apply a tag to candidates scoring at or above a threshold you set.

ONE-CLICK QUICK-TAGS & REVIEW
• Tag candidates with a single click using quick-tag buttons you configure (e.g. "Strong yes", "Reject – experience", "Potential"). Applied tags are highlighted.
• Optionally mark a candidate "reviewed" and auto-advance to the next one eacha stage without touching the mouse twice.

BULK REJECTION, DONE RIGHT
• "Reject Tagged" opens a composer that groups your tagged candidates by tag. For each group you write a custom rejection email (type it, load one of your Greenhouse email templates, or
draft/refine it with the built-in AI), pick a rejection reason, and flip two s(off = keep them, e.g. a "Potential" shortlist) and "Send email" (off = rejectsilently).

• Mark reviewed, jump to the next unreviewed candidate, move stage, send an email, and open scheduling — all from the panel.

GUIDED SETUP
• A built-in interactive walkthrough gets you fully configured (AI key, consenes every feature — including a safe, no-send demo of the bulk-reject composer.Re-run it anytime from the "?" menu.

PRIVACY & SECURITY (this is the whole point)

• No server, no backend, no analytics, no developer database. The extension has nowhere to send your data even if it wanted to — so we can't see, collect, sell, or retain candidate data at any time.
• Everything is stored locally on your device (your settings, your API key, cached scores). Clear it anytime from settings, or by uninstalling.
• AI features are strictly opt-in and consent-gated. Nothing is sent to an AI provider until you add your own key and tick consent.
• When you use an AI feature, only the résumé text, the candidate's name, and the role criteria you configured are sent — directly from your browser to your chosen provider's API, billed to your own account, under that provider's terms. Screening-question answers are stripped out first. Your API key is never sent to us or to any Greenhouse page.
• The panel only activates on Greenhouse pages, using the session you're already signed into. It never stores your Greenhouse password and does nothing when your browser is closed.

REQUIREMENTS
• An active Greenhouse Recruiting account (you sign in as normal).
• For AI scoring/drafting: your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. The rest of the toolbar works without any AI key.
