About

FrameWide: Take Control of Your Gemini Workspace
Standard Gemini layouts often waste valuable screen space, especially on large or ultrawide monitors. You are left with cramped chat bubbles and tiny input boxes, even when there is plenty of room to work with. FrameWide is a precision UI tool designed to fix that by giving you total control to stretch your workspace exactly how you want it.

I built this tool because I was tired of fighting with fixed-width constraints when coding, writing, or analyzing data. FrameWide lets you utilize every inch of your screen for maximum productivity.

Why You Need FrameWide:
If you use Gemini for complex tasks, data analysis, or development, you know how frustrating a narrow layout can be.

Code Review: Narrow chat bubbles force long lines of code to wrap, making them unreadable. FrameWide lets you stretch the view so you can see your entire code block at once.

Data Analysis: Complex tables get cut off, forcing endless horizontal scrolling. Our specialized Table Expander fixes this instantly.

Writing & Prompting: A small input box makes it hard to review large prompts before you send them. Use the input slider to give yourself a full-width writing canvas.

Core Features:
Independent Scaling: Use the dual sliders in the extension popup to adjust the width of the chat window and the input box separately. Scale them to the perfect width for your specific workflow.

The 25px Nudge: Everything stays perfectly centered and balanced, no matter how wide you go. Your workspace looks clean and professional, not just stretched.

Table Expander: Got a complex table that refuses to scale? This specialized toggle forces legacy and hybrid data tables out of their containers to fill the screen. Perfect for data-heavy tasks that involve native features like "Export to Sheets".

Clean, High-Contrast UI: A custom dark, high-contrast interface designed to stay out of your way and let you focus on your work.

Zero Bloat, Maximum Privacy
Zero Data Collection: We don't track you, we don't see your chats, and we do not collect data. Period.

Local Only: All your layout preferences are saved locally in your own browser using the chrome.storage.local API.

Light & Fast: FrameWide uses minimal code to deliver maximal performance without impacting your browser speed.

Take control of your Gemini experience. Install FrameWide and stretch your workspace today.
