    description
Type "b/ github". Press Enter. github.com loads before your finger leaves the key.

You give every link you save a memorable slug. Chrome handles the redirect locally, with no network round-trip and no loading screen.

    A working day with BookSlash:

Your CEO Slacks you the quarterly Notion doc at 9:14am. You save it as "q4". At 4:37pm someone in Zoom asks for it. You type "b/ q4" in a fresh tab. You open the doc before your colleague finishes the question.

You build fifty of these in your first week. The fifty links you reopen most often, two keystrokes away.

Click the toolbar icon for the search popup. Filter by typing. Press Enter to jump. Hit "+ Add current tab" to save the page you're on as a new shortcut.

The extension pulls your shortcuts from BookSlash every five minutes and caches them locally. You can use any shortcut you've already loaded while offline.

Sign in once with a short-lived device code. The extension never sees your password. The token stored in your browser is the only credential, and you can revoke it from your account at any moment. The server keeps a hashed copy; the raw token leaves the wire once, at issuance.

Built for designers, engineers, founders, and support teams who reopen the same thirty links every week and resent the time spent hunting them down.

Requires a free BookSlash account at bookslash.app

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc. Firefox 128+ and Safari 17+ have separate builds.
Turn long work URLs into memorable b/ shortcuts your team shares.

Save any page, give it a short slug like b/wiki or b/deploy, and open it right from Chrome’s address bar. BookSlash makes team links easy to save, easy to remember, and easy to reuse.

    Why teams install it:

    • Save the current page in one click
    • Open shared b/ shortcuts from the address bar
    • Search team links without digging through Slack or tabs
    • Keep work links in one shared system
    • Privacy-respecting design with minimal permissions
