About
TabRoller quietly watches your open tabs and closes the ones you've stopped using, so your browser stays light and your tab bar stays readable. Set how long a tab can sit idle, from 5 minutes to 30 days. When a tab crosses that line, TabRoller sends a friendly notification: keep it, close it now, or let it close itself after a few minutes. Nothing disappears without warning, and anything that does get closed is saved to a recently-closed list you can restore with one click. What you can do: Set your own inactivity threshold with a slider or exact minute count Whitelist domains that should never be touched (Gmail, your work tools, banking, whatever matters) Skip tabs that are pinned, playing audio, bookmarked, or the only tab in a window Use Hibernate mode to free memory without actually closing the tab Set quiet hours so nothing happens during your focused work time Get a daily summary of what was closed, if you want one See 30-day statistics: tabs closed, top domains, estimated memory saved Restore any of the last 50 closed tabs with one click Hit Ctrl+Shift+K (or Cmd+Shift+K on Mac) to close all inactive tabs immediately Export and import your settings as JSON Switch between light and dark mode Your data stays on your machine. No telemetry, no analytics, no servers. Tab titles and URLs are never transmitted anywhere. Settings sync across your Chrome installations through Chrome's built-in sync, and history lives locally. Built for people who open 40 tabs by lunch and want their browser to help them clean up without losing anything important.
