About

Overview:
This is an experimental real-time face emotion detector that you activate with a single click. Once enabled via the button at the bottom-right of your browser, it automatically detects faces in still images on Instagram and in videos on YouTube, overlaying the likely emotion for each face.

Unlike other tools, it works automatically, you don’t need to select or box the faces manually.

Key Features:

Detects emotions in live YouTube videos and still images on Instagram.

Automatic detection with instant overlay labels to the top left of the face.

Simple toggle button at the bottom-right corner: click once to enable or disable.

Fully client-side: all processing happens in your browser.

Designed for experimentation and learning; no personal data is transmitted or collected.

Important Notes / Usage Guidelines:

Works best on high-resolution videos and images with minimal motion.

May occasionally detect non-face objects; results are experimental.

Does not work on tainted/copyrighted canvases; only unlicensed images/videos are detectable.

Only use on faces for which you have explicit permission.

Not intended for casual scrolling; accuracy varies depending on content quality.

Privacy Policy:

No facial data is stored, transmitted, or shared.

All processing occurs locally in your browser.

No user or website data leaves your computer.

Warnings:

This extension is experimental; occasional glitches may occur.

Use responsibly. The developer is not liable for misuse or unauthorized use on other people’s images/videos.

Intended for fun, experimentation, and learning purposes only.

How to Use:

Install and enable the extension.

Click the enable button at the bottom-right of your browser.

Navigate to YouTube videos or images on Instagram. Detected faces will show emotion overlays automatically.

Click the toggle button again to disable.

Future Improvements:

Better UI and stability.

Expanded accuracy for a wider range of videos and images.
