4 CAPTURE MODES
- Visible Area — capture exactly what's on screen right now
- Full Page — scroll and stitch the entire page automatically
- Crop Region — drag to select any area of the page
- Save as PDF — capture full page and export directly to PDF

ANNOTATION TOOLS
After capture, a full annotation editor opens in a new tab:
-  Pen — freehand drawing
-  Arrow — clean filled arrowhead
-  Line — straight line
-  Circle / Ellipse
-  Text — click to place, type, Enter to commit
-  Step Markers — auto-numbered circles ①②③ for tutorials
-  Callout Bubble — typed text inside a speech bubble
-  Blur / Redact — pixelate sensitive information
-  Crop Canvas — trim the captured image
-  Emoji Stamp — pick from 30 common emojis and stamp anywhere

All tools support custom colors and stroke sizes.
Undo up to 50 steps. Clear all annotations at once.

EXPORT OPTIONS
-  Download PNG — full resolution, lossless
-  Copy Image — paste directly into Slack, email, Figma, anywhere
-  Save PDF — proper PDF file sized to match your screenshot

Snipwise is 100% local. No data is ever uploaded anywhere.
Screenshots never leave your device. No analytics, no tracking,
no third-party services of any kind.

Permissions used:
- activeTab — to capture the current tab
- scripting — to inject the crop overlay and full-page scroll
- tabs — to open the annotation editor in a new tab
- storage — to save theme preference and last capture reference
