HOW IT WORKS

1. Open Ederest DAP from the Chrome toolbar.
2. Log in with your Ederest account and select your organization.
3. Browse the available walkthroughs created by your team.
4. Click "Start" on any walkthrough.
5. Follow the on-screen tooltips — they highlight exactly where to click, what to type, and why each action matters.
6. Complete the walkthrough at your own pace, with real-time validation at each step.

HOW WALKTHROUGHS ARE CREATED

Walkthroughs are built using the companion extension, Ederest Creator. Your team lead, trainer, or admin creates walkthroughs by clicking through the real application — no coding required. Once published, the walkthroughs become available to everyone in the organization through Ederest DAP.

PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS

Ederest DAP requires the following permissions:

• Active Tab: To interact with the current page and display guided tooltips on the correct elements.
• Storage: To securely store your authentication session locally.
• Tabs: To identify the current page URL and manage navigation during walkthroughs.
• Scripting: To inject the walkthrough overlay onto web pages.
• Host Permissions (all URLs): To work on any web application your walkthroughs are built for.

No data is collected or shared with third parties. Your walkthrough progress and session data are managed through your Ederest account only.

GET STARTED

1. Install the extension.
2. Click the Ederest DAP icon in your toolbar.
3. Log in with your Ederest account.
4. Select your organization.
5. Start your first walkthrough.
