How It Works:

1. Log In: Securely authenticate using your e-MedScribe account (powered by Azure Entra).

2. Open PCC: Navigate to a resident's chart in PointClickCare.

3. Search Resident: Use the e-MedScribe side panel to search for the resident by their MRN.

4. Select Template: Choose your desired note type (e.g., "Initial Assessment" or "Follow-up").

5. Generate Note: Our secure AI backend processes the data and generates a comprehensive, template-based note in seconds.

6. Review & Edit: The new note opens in our built-in editor. All populated data is highlighted. You can review, edit, and copy the final note for pasting into PCC.

Smart Data Aggregation:
e-MedScribe intelligently fetches a comprehensive set of data from multiple PCC pages, including:

Powerful Template Engine:
Take control of your documentation. You can create, edit, and manage your own library of note templates.

Assign variables (e.g., {{ Vitals }}, {{ Labs }}) exactly where you want them.

Create separate templates for "Initial" and "Follow-up" notes.

Set your most-used templates as defaults for one-click access.

Intelligent Note Generation:

Initial Notes: Our AI uses all data and selected documents to build a comprehensive initial assessment.

Follow-up Notes: The system intelligently looks for a previous note. If one isn't found, it will prompt you to paste the prior note's text, ensuring perfect continuity.

Asynchronous Processing: Note generation happens in the background. You'll receive a desktop notification when your note is ready, so you can continue working without interruption.

Complete Note History & Editor:

Access a full, searchable history of all notes you've generated.

Filter your history by resident name, date, note type, or generation status.

Re-open any previous note in the editor to review, edit, or copy it again.

Security & Privacy First:

We understand you work with Protected Health Information (PHI). Security is our top priority.

Secure Authentication: User access is controlled via Azure Entra.

Secure Data Transmission: All data is sent over secure HTTPS connections to our api.emedscribe.com backend.
