MAVA Tools adds a small green button overlay (🟢) in the corner of any web page you visit. Click it to instantly send the URL of the current page to your locally running MAVA-EcomOS desktop application, where you can manage and organize collected links.
KEY FEATURES
• One-click URL capture from the active browser tab
• Account label selector — choose which label inside the desktop app the URL will be associated with
• Sends data only via local loopback (127.0.0.1) — no external servers, no analytics, no third-party tracking
• Configurable API endpoint via the extension popup (default: http://127.0.0.1:6868)
HOW IT WORKS
1. Install and run the MAVA-EcomOS desktop application on your computer
2. Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the popup
3. Enter the API URL of your local desktop app and click "Save"
4. On any web page, click the green button overlay in the corner — the URL is sent to the desktop app
5. The desktop app receives, displays, and stores the URL for your later reference
REQUIREMENTS
• The MAVA-EcomOS desktop application must be installed and running on the same computer
• This extension does NOT work standalone — it is a companion to the desktop app, not a replacement
• Default API endpoint port: 6868 (configurable)
WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO
• Does NOT download videos, images, or any media from any website
• Does NOT scrape page content or harvest data
• Does NOT modify the page beyond inserting one button in the corner
• Does NOT read cookies, login sessions, passwords, or any personal data
• Does NOT contain ads, analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking
• Does NOT send any data over the Internet — all traffic stays on your machine via 127.0.0.1
