About
Quick Look for Drive adds the one feature Google Drive's toolbar is missing: a visible Preview button. 👁️🗨️ Google Drive already supports previewing files with a keyboard shortcut, but it's buried and easy to forget. This extension surfaces it directly in the toolbar — right next to Drive's own icons — and also lets you just press the spacebar to preview whatever file you have selected, similar to macOS Quick Look. Features ✅ Adds an eye-shaped Preview button to Drive's selection toolbar, styled to match Drive's own icons (including dark mode) ✅ Press Space to instantly preview the selected file — no clicking required ✅ Works entirely inside your browser — no accounts, no servers, no tracking 🔒 Privacy Quick Look for Drive does not collect, store, or transmit any data. 🙈 It runs a small script inside Drive's own page to add the button and simulate Drive's built-in preview shortcut — nothing you do is ever sent anywhere.
