  Enable the extension, turn on subtitles on any supported site, and your chosen language appears automatically.
  
  Choose your translation provider:
  • MyMemory — free, no account required. Add an optional email address to raise the daily limit from 500 to 10,000 words.
  • DeepL Free — up to 500,000 characters per month with a free DeepL API key.
  
  Supported languages include Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Portuguese, and many more.
  
  Customise the overlay appearance with font size, vertical position, background opacity, and text shadow controls.
  
  Privacy: subtitle text is sent only to the translation provider you select. No personal data is collected or stored by this extension.

  Translation uses Chrome's built-in on-device translator when available — instant, private, and works offline. On devices without it installed, translation falls back to MyMemory, a free online translation service.
