Parrot Resume auto-fills the standard fields most job applications ask for — name, email, phone, mailing address, links, work-authorization questions, and EEO questions — using a profile you have already saved on parrotresume.ai. The average job seeker burns five to ten minutes per application on the same boilerplate, and Parrot Resume hands that time back to you.


WHY INSTALL PARROT RESUME

• Apply to several times more jobs in the same amount of time.
• No more typos on critical fields like your email or phone number — everything is synced from the resume you already built.
• Stay in control: the extension never submits an application for you. It fills the fields, you review, attach your resume, and click submit yourself.
• Handle EEO and demographic questions automatically (set to "Decline to self-identify" by default — you can change this in settings).
• Your profile stays in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a third-party server.


HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign in on parrotresume.ai and pick the resume you want to use.
2. Your contact details, location, links, and work-authorization answers sync to the extension automatically.
3. Open a job application page on a supported applicant tracking system — the standard fields are filled in seconds. A small banner shows how many fields were matched.
4. Review any remaining questions, attach your resume file, and submit when you're ready.

You can also click "Fill this page now" from the popup to trigger a manual fill, useful for late-rendered forms or after editing your profile.


WHERE IT WORKS

Parrot Resume runs on application pages hosted by major applicant tracking systems used by most U.S. employers. The complete and current list of supported hosts is documented in our privacy policy at parrotresume.ai/privacy. Support for additional hosts is added over time based on user requests.


WHAT GETS FILLED

Contact details: name, preferred name, email, phone.
Location: street address, city, state, ZIP or postal code, country.
Links: LinkedIn, GitHub, personal website.
Work eligibility: work authorization and visa-sponsorship answers.
EEO (optional, configurable): gender, race or ethnicity, Hispanic or Latino, veteran status, disability.

Anything the extension cannot confidently match is left blank for you to review. We never guess.


PRIVACY AND TRUST

• Your profile data lives only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to Parrot Resume servers from this extension under normal operation.
• The extension never auto-submits an application.
• The extension never reads, scrapes, or transmits the contents of pages you are not actively applying on.
