About

Tomo is a friendly Pomodoro timer with focus-time website blocking, designed to help you actually finish what you start.

Pick a rhythm — Light (15/5/15), Classic (25/5/15), Deep Work (45/10/30), or Hardcore (60/5/30) — or build your own. During focus, distracting sites redirect to a calm, mascot-led blocked page that nudges you back. Take a real break when the chime rings.

WHAT YOU GET

• Four built-in rhythms or your own custom timer setup, saved as a fifth preset
• Allowlist mode (only listed sites work), Block selected groups (social, news, video, etc.), or turn blocking off for a pure Pomodoro nudge
• Quick Allow during focus — grant a one-time exception or add to your permanent allowlist without leaving the popup
• Stats panel with today, this week, current streak, and all-time totals, plus a 13-week heatmap so you can see your focus shape over time
• Set a daily focus goal (1–12 hours); a small celebration fires when you cross it
• Strict mode and the Hardcore preset disable Pause and Skip during focus for serious deep-work sessions
• Soothing tick sounds (woodblock, pluck, drop, felt) and chime melodies (triad, bell, bowl, windchime), each with volume control
• Light and dark themes
• Toolbar badge counts down the minutes; system notifications keep you in the loop without breaking focus
• Tomo, the mascot, gets sleepy when you work and lights up when you crush your daily goal

PRIVACY-FIRST

Tomo works fully offline. No accounts, no telemetry, no servers. Every setting and stat lives in your browser via chrome.storage.local. Site blocking happens at the browser's network layer using Chrome's declarativeNetRequest, so Tomo never reads page content.

Stay focused with Tomo.
