SiteLenz is a Chrome extension that lets users generate AI-generated text from the currently visible webpage after submitting a prompt.

The extension operates only when manually activated by the user and processes content from the active tab only.

How it works:

Open a webpage in Chrome

Click the SiteLenz extension icon

Enter a prompt

Click Generate

Receive AI-generated output based on the visible content of the current page

Functionality:

Uses the visible content of the active webpage as input only after user interaction

Generates AI-based summaries, explanations, or rewritten text based on the user’s prompt

Processes one request at a time

Works on text-based webpages such as articles and company websites

Activation & access:

The extension runs only when the user clicks Generate

It does not run automatically

It does not operate in the background

Account & usage:

A user account is required to use the extension

New users receive a limited number of free credits - 5

Continued usage requires a paid subscription - 3 different tiers

Privacy & data access

SiteLenz:

Accesses page content only on explicit user request

Does not monitor browsing activity

Does not access background tabs

Does not collect or store browsing history
