 THREE VIEWING MODES

FocusView comes with three built-in modes so you can switch between productivity and leisure without manually toggling every setting:

 - Focus Mode: Strips YouTube down to search only. No homepage feed, no video suggestions, no comments, no Shorts. Just you and the content you came for.
 - Break Mode: Need a quick YouTube break? Set a timer (1-120 minutes), and FocusView will let you know when your time is up. Track daily sessions and set limits so a "quick break" doesn't turn into an hour.
 - Manual Mode: Full control over every individual setting. Toggle features on and off to build your own custom experience.

 DISTRACTION BLOCKING FEATURES

Block Shorts
Hide the Shorts menu item, remove Shorts from your feed, and optionally redirect any Shorts URL to the regular video player. No more getting pulled into the endless scroll.

Hide Home Recommendations
Remove YouTube's algorithmically-curated homepage feed entirely. Open YouTube and see a clean page instead of an endless wall of suggested videos.

Hide Video Suggestions
Remove the "Up Next" sidebar on video watch pages. Watch what you came to watch without being tempted by unrelated recommendations.

Hide Comments
Remove the comments section from video pages. Stay focused on the content without getting pulled into debates and distractions below.

 Greyscale Thumbnails
 Make all video thumbnails black and white. Reduces the visual pull of bright, attention-grabbing
 thumbnails while keeping video playback in full color.

Hide Navigation & UI Elements

Learning-Only Sidebar
