What it does
This extension enables hardware-based eye tracking for Tobii Sticky research studies directly in the browser.
 
How it works
The extension connects a Sticky experiment to a Tobii eye tracker - It uses Chrome’s native messaging to communicate with the Tobii Web Host application on the computer, which then connects to the eye tracker.
 
What you need
A compatible Tobii eye tracker (for example, Tobii Pro Spark)
Tobii Eye Tracker Manager installed and calibrated
Tobii Web Host application installed and running
 
Set up
Install the extension. 
It automatically detects the Web Host connection.
Install and run the Tobii Web Host application.
Install Tobii Eye Tracker Manager and calibrate the eye tracker.
Open the Sticky experiment link. 
Gaze streaming starts when the study begins.
 
Data streaming and privacy
The extension streams gaze coordinates at 60 Hz to the experiment page in real time.
It does not store gaze data. All data is handled by the study platform.
 
Supported platforms
Windows with Chromium-based browsers, such as Chrome or Edge.
