About
Upload media to your self-hosted Zipline instance directly from your browser's right-click menu. Built for people who already run Zipline as their personal file and URL host and want a fast, native uploader instead of saving locally and dragging. WHAT IT DOES • Right-click any image, video, or audio file on a webpage and pick "Upload to Zipline" — the file is uploaded and the resulting URL is copied to your clipboard. • Optional right-click URL shortening for any link, using Zipline's built-in /api/user/urls endpoint. • Optional auto-delete: pick how long an upload should live (1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 90 days, or 1 year). Sent to Zipline via the x-zipline-deletes-at header. • Optional max-view limit per upload: the file is removed automatically after N views. Sent via the x-zipline-max-views header. • Polished dark-themed settings UI. Click the toolbar icon for the popup; right-click the icon → Manage Extension → Options for the full-page version. • Cross-browser: a single source codebase builds for both Chrome and Firefox. GETTING STARTED 1. Install the extension. 2. Click the toolbar icon to open the settings popup. 3. Enter your Zipline upload URL (for example, https://your-zipline-instance.com/api/upload) and your Zipline authorization token. Both values can be copied from the .sxcu ShareX export that Zipline provides in your account settings. 4. Toggle any of the advanced options as desired and click Save Settings. 5. Right-click any image, video, or audio file on any webpage and choose "Upload to Zipline". PRIVACY Upload to Zipline does not collect, transmit, or store any data other than the Zipline server URL and authorization token you explicitly enter. These values are saved locally in your browser's storage.sync (subject to your browser's sync settings if you're signed in) and are only ever transmitted to the Zipline server you configure. The extension contains no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party network calls. OPEN SOURCE GPL-3.0 licensed. Full source at https://github.com/jakedev796/upload-to-zipline
