Verbally turns any web page into a bilingual reading experience.

When you click the Verbally button on a foreign-language page, the page is read aloud in its original language — Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or English — while subtitled translations appear in sync at the bottom of the page, in the language you choose. Just like watching a film with subtitles.

It's built for language learners. Read a Dutch news article and hear it spoken naturally; glance down for the English caption when a word is new. Switch on word-saving mode to highlight words you don't know — Verbally builds a personal dictionary and offers AI-generated quizzes and flashcards to lock the words in.

Verbally is a subscription service. New accounts get a 24-hour free trial — card up front, no charge if you cancel before the trial ends. After the trial, $5.99 / month, cancel anytime from your Stripe customer portal.

Privacy
Verbally is built privacy-first. The page text is sent to our translation provider only to produce your captions — it is not stored. Your saved words, dictionary, and flashcards live only in your browser. We never sell or transfer your data. Read our full policy at verballyreader.com/privacy.

Sign-in
Verbally requires a Google sign-in so your saved words and subscription move with you across devices. One click via Google — no separate account to create.

Languages currently supported as the page (source) language: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese. Caption (target) language is your choice from the same set.
