About
WebRTC Leak Protection by DataSec helps stop websites from showing your real IP address even if you have VPN turned on through WebRTC. With just one click, it makes your browser's WebRTC settings more secure, checks if your public IP is visible, and shows a flashing warning if a leak is found. It's light, private, and easy to use. Key features include: a toggle for WebRTC protection, a one-click test that checks your public IP, and a red, flashing warning icon when a leak is detected. It supports English and Russian. It doesn't collect any data and runs directly on your device. How it works: the extension sets Chrome's WebRTC settings to block non-proxied UDP traffic, which is often the cause of IP leaks. The built-in test checks your public IP and tells you if it's protected. Privacy: no tracking, no analytics, and no user data is collected. It only makes network requests to check your public IP during the test. Made by Adham Kurbanov
