Smart Copy-Paste Memory is a lightweight clipboard history for your browser.

Automatically saves the last 20 text snippets you copy (local by default)

Right-click → Save selection without switching tabs

Search, pin, delete, and export your snippets

Cleanup toggle fixes curly quotes, extra whitespace, and zero-width characters

One-click Paste inserts directly at your cursor in inputs, textareas, and content-editable fields

Optional keyboard shortcut for “Paste most recent” (configurable)

No tracking. No ads. Works offline.

Permissions explained:

storage: Save your clipboard history locally (or via Chrome sync if you enable it)

contextMenus: Add “Save selection to Clipboard Memory” to the right-click menu

scripting + activeTab: Insert your chosen text into the currently focused field when you click Paste
