Squarespace Schema Rich Snippets — instant schema audit for Squarespace
    sites

Open the extension on any Squarespace page — homepage, product page,
blog post, event, portfolio item, or service listing — and see exactly
what structured data the site is outputting, what's missing, and
whether Google can use it for rich results. Built specifically for
Squarespace site owners, freelance designers, and SEO consultants
    auditing Squarespace builds.

    WHAT IT DOES

    - Detects every JSON-LD and Microdata schema on the Squarespace page
      you're viewing — Squarespace's auto-generated schema plus anything
added through Code Injection or Code Blocks
    - Validates each schema against Schema.org rules: required fields,
recommended fields, value formats (URLs, ISO dates, currency codes,
      durations)
    - Scores the page's schema health 0–100% with a clear breakdown
    - Tells you which Google rich result features the page qualifies for —
Product cards, Article, Event, LocalBusiness, Breadcrumbs, Reviews,
      and more
    - Flags missing fields field-by-field so you know exactly what to fix
in your Squarespace SEO settings or custom code injections
    - Validates pasted JSON-LD on demand — useful before pasting custom
schema into Squarespace's Code Injection panel

WHY SQUARESPACE SITE OWNERS NEED THIS

Squarespace auto-generates schema for built-in content types — Products,
Events, Blog Posts, Locations — but the coverage is uneven. Product
pages often ship without aggregateRating, sku, or brand. Event schema
sometimes omits eventStatus or location.address. Blog Post nodes
frequently miss author detail or publisher logo dimensions. These
gaps don't break the page, but they silently disqualify it from
    rich results in Google search.

This extension shows you in seconds what's broken on each Squarespace
    page so you can:
    - Catch missing product fields before they cost you Squarespace
      Commerce rich snippets
    - Verify that Squarespace Events schema includes valid startDate,
      endDate, and location data
    - Spot conflicts when custom schema added through Code Injection
      overlaps with Squarespace's auto-generated schema
    - Diagnose schema regressions after a template change or 7.0 → 7.1
      migration
    - Audit competitor Squarespace sites to see what schema they ship
    - Validate custom JSON-LD before pasting it into Code Injection or
      per-page header injection

    PLATFORM-AWARE

This extension is built for Squarespace. When you open it on a
non-Squarespace page, it tells you so — no false positives, no
irrelevant warnings. The detection looks for Squarespace's signature
fingerprints (the Squarespace generator meta tag, squarespace.com
and static1.squarespace.com asset hosts, the SQUARESPACE_CONTEXT
runtime global, the data-static-context attribute on the document
    root) before scanning.

    KEY FEATURES

    - Side panel UI — works alongside the Squarespace site you're
      inspecting
    - Dashboard with health score, error/warning counts, and rich-result
      eligibility at a glance
    - Per-schema breakdown with field-level validation
    - Filter by status (errors, warnings, valid) or schema type
    - One-click links to Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema.org
      Validator for the current page
    - Validate tab for pasting and testing custom JSON-LD before adding
      it through Squarespace Code Injection
    - Pop-out window mode for side-by-side review with your Squarespace
      editor
    - Export full audit results as JSON for client reports or QA tickets
    - Works on every Squarespace-powered site — squarespace.com staging
URLs, free trial sites, and Squarespace sites on connected custom
      domains

    PRIVACY

This extension reads only the active tab's HTML when you open it.
Nothing is sent to any server. No analytics, no tracking, no account
required. Your site data stays in your browser.
