About

Essentyx is a browser extension that neutralizes emotionally biased and manipulative language in news articles, blog posts and other long-form web content. It rewrites visible text in real time into neutral phrasing while preserving facts and does not summarize, censor or modify the source site.

When you visit a news site, Essentyx detects the article, sends it to our AI-powered backend, and replaces the text inline with a neutralized version that preserves every fact while stripping emotional language, charged verbs, hyperbole, loaded presuppositions, ideological labels, and authority framing.

How it works
 **Auto mode** - articles are neutralized automatically when you load them.
 **Manual mode** - Essentyx detects the article and asks before processing.
 **Selection mode** - right-click any text selection on any page to neutralize just that passage.
