Changelog
- May 5, 2026description
Here's the full Chrome Web Store long description, ready to paste: Adycus — Stay on track. Everywhere. Adycus is a productivity extension built directly into Chrome's side panel — one click away from any tab, without interrupting your workflow. It combines task management, focus sessions, distraction blocking, and detailed activity tracking into a single tool so you don't need four different extensions to stay on top of your day. TASK MANAGEMENT Create tasks with deadlines, times, priority levels, subtasks, tags, and descriptions. Everything is optional — you can add a task in two seconds with just a title, or go deep with full details when you need to. The Kanban board organises your work into Today, In Progress, Done, and Overdue columns. Drag cards between columns as your day progresses. Cards are colour-coded by priority so you can see what needs attention at a glance. The Calendar view shows all your tasks on their deadline dates. Click any day to see what's due and what you actually got done. Multi-day tasks span across every day from start to deadline, so long projects stay visible. Deadline notifications fire automatically — 2 hours before, 30 minutes before, and the moment a task goes overdue. FOCUS & DISTRACTION BLOCKING Three science-backed timer presets: Pomodoro — 25 min work / 5 min break Deep Work Sprint — 52 min work / 17 min break (based on DeskTime productivity research) Custom — set your own durations Focus Sessions let you block any list of websites for a set number of hours. Once active, blocked sites redirect to a clean page with a countdown and a motivational nudge instead of just a wall. The Reflect Before Opening feature adds a timed pause overlay to any site you choose — even outside focus mode. Before you can scroll Instagram or Reddit, you sit through a 10-second countdown and a nudge question like "Is this intentional or just habit?" The timer duration is fully adjustable. This creates just enough friction to stop mindless opens without hard blocking anything. YouTube Shorts are automatically redirected to the normal video player. Instagram Reels are hidden from the feed and navigation. No more vertical scroll traps. Daily time limits let you cap any site to a set number of minutes per day. When you hit the limit, the site blocks automatically. If you genuinely need a few more minutes — say your video has 3 minutes left — you can add 5 or 15 minutes, or type any custom amount, and go straight back to exactly where you were. ACTIVITY TRACKING Every website you visit is logged with time spent, stored entirely on your device. Nothing ever leaves your browser. Expand any domain to see every individual URL you visited with the page title and exact duration. For YouTube, it shows the specific video title and how long you watched it. Navigate through past days to review how you actually spent your time. You can delete individual entries, entire domains, a full day, or all history at any time. If you clear Chrome's browsing history, Adycus automatically wipes its own data to match. The Calendar doubles as a life log — past days show a browsing activity summary alongside your tasks, so you can look back and see exactly what you did on any given day. PRIVACY All data — tasks, activity, settings — is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. No accounts. No sign-up. No servers. No analytics. Nothing is ever transmitted anywhere. WORKS ON Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Opera GX, and any Chromium-based browser. QUICK ACCESS The Dashboard button opens a full-page version of Adycus in a new tab — wider Kanban board, larger calendar, two-column settings layout — for when you want more space to plan. Adycus sits in Chrome's native Side Panel so it never takes over your browser. Open it, check your tasks, close it, keep working.
