About

Rouxter (roux + router = "Rooter") is a retro bayou internet speed test. Choose a swamp fanboat captain to test the waters of your connection speeds.

How it measures: Rouxter transfers test data to and from public speed-test servers (Cloudflare's speed endpoints, plus community LibreSpeed servers operated by Clouvider and Sharktech) for about 8 seconds each direction, then reports your throughput. If one server is busy, it automatically switches to the fastest one available to you.

Privacy: Like me fishing, Rouxter collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no history stored, no data sold. The only network traffic is the speed test itself, and the only thing saved locally is which driver you picked.
