About

SAM.gov Opportunity Copilot helps you triage SAM.gov opportunities faster without adding a backend account or moving your core workflow out of the browser.

The extension adds a local-first workflow on top of live SAM.gov pages:
- explainable opportunity scoring
- faster opportunity triage
- local saves for shortlist continuity
- revisit flow across popup, workspace, and options surfaces

What it does:
- reads live SAM.gov opportunity pages in the browser
- scores opportunities using deterministic, explainable rules
- lets you save promising items locally for later review
- keeps the workflow lightweight and focused on triage, not CRM or proposal generation

Why it is useful:
- reduces time spent manually sorting opportunities
- makes score output understandable instead of opaque
- keeps core shortlist data local-first
- avoids unnecessary permissions and avoids expanding into unrelated workflow scope

Privacy and data handling:
- core shortlist continuity is local-first
- the extension is designed around minimal permissions
- optional diagnostics/telemetry, when enabled, stay within the disclosed observability boundary
- no hidden account requirement for the core workflow

Best for:
- consultants, capture leads, and small teams reviewing SAM.gov opportunities
- solo operators who want a lean shortlist and revisit workflow
- users who want explainable scoring instead of black-box ranking
