About

ClarityOne is a lightweight accessibility extension that makes websites easier to read, navigate, and inspect.

It adds a local accessibility layer to the pages you choose, helping improve contrast, typography, focus visibility, reading comfort, and basic accessibility review workflows without changing the original website permanently.

ClarityOne is designed for people who want clearer, more comfortable browsing, including users with low vision, color vision differences, dyslexia, motor accessibility needs, cognitive accessibility needs, or anyone who simply finds many websites visually tiring.

Key features:

• One-click accessibility mode
Turn ClarityOne on or off from the extension popup.

• Reading and display controls
Adjust font scale, line height, letter spacing, word spacing, paragraph spacing, and readable font settings.

• High contrast modes
Choose from light, dark, yellow-on-black, and inverted contrast modes to improve readability across different websites.

• Color-blind assist modes
Apply display adjustments for deuteranopia, protanopia, and tritanopia support.

• Dyslexia-friendly reading options
Enable a dyslexia-friendly font mode and spacing presets designed to make text more comfortable to follow.

• Enhanced keyboard focus
Strengthen focus indicators so links, buttons, form fields, and interactive controls are easier to see while navigating with a keyboard.

• Reading mode and text picker
Reduce page distractions by focusing on the main content area, or pick a specific section of the page as your reading target.

• Built-in presets
Use quick presets for Reading, High Contrast, Dyslexia, and Focus modes.

• Site-specific settings
Save custom settings for individual websites while keeping separate global defaults.

• Auto-apply rules
Create rules for specific domains or patterns so your preferred preset automatically applies when you visit matching sites.

• Import and export settings
Export your ClarityOne settings as JSON and import them again later.

• Website accessibility audit
Run a quick accessibility scan on the current page, review detected issues by severity/type, highlight affected elements, and export reports as JSON, CSV, or a developer-friendly report.

Privacy and data:

ClarityOne is built to run locally in your browser. It stores settings, site preferences, presets, rules, and scan history using browser local storage. It does not require an account, does not use remote code, and is not designed to collect or sell personal data.

Why ClarityOne exists:

Many websites are difficult to read or navigate because of low contrast, small text, tight spacing, weak focus indicators, or visually busy layouts. ClarityOne gives users practical controls to make those pages more usable, while also giving developers and accessibility-conscious users a quick way to inspect common page issues.

ClarityOne is not a replacement for properly accessible website design, but it can make everyday browsing more comfortable and help identify areas where pages can be improved.
