Quieta — Local anonymization for chatbots

Quieta detects personal data in what you type into chatbots and replaces it with anonymized aliases, before the text is sent to the chatbot provider. Everything happens on your machine. Nothing is transmitted to a Quieta server. Nothing is stored remotely.

WHY QUIETA

Modern chatbots are useful, but every message you send goes to a third-party provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, etc.) and contributes to a permanent record on their servers. If your message contains personal data — your name, your colleagues' names, client emails, addresses, account numbers — that data leaves your control the moment you press Enter.

Quieta sits between you and the chatbot. It detects sensitive information before the message is sent, replaces it with anonymized aliases (PERSON_1, ORG_2, EMAIL_3, etc.), and lets you decide what stays private and what goes through. When the chatbot replies, Quieta can put your real values back, locally, so you keep the original meaning of the conversation.
