WebVoice helps you listen to content from the current browser tab.

Select text on a page, then use the popup, shortcut, or selected-text quick menu to start playback. If no text is selected, WebVoice can try to extract the main article body and read it aloud.

What you can do:
- Listen to selected text or extracted article content
- Pause, resume, stop, and adjust speed
- Use text progress to jump through longer content
- Choose available browser or system voices
- Translate content before playback when configured
- Use optional cloud voice providers for higher-quality speech
- Save audio generated by supported cloud voice providers
- Use keyboard shortcuts and the selected-text quick menu

Free local reading uses browser or system voices. Pro features unlock cloud voice providers and audio download. Payment pages are hosted by Stripe.

Privacy:
In local reading mode, page text stays in the browser. Text is sent to cloud voice or translation providers only when you enable and use those features. WebVoice does not collect credit card details.

Some restricted pages, browser PDF viewers, sandboxed frames, canvas-rendered text, or closed Shadow DOM content may not be readable due to browser security limits.
