  ### Detailed Description

  Webex Player Addons is a browser extension designed to enhance the playback experience of Webex
  recording files. It introduces advanced playback tools, customizable controls, and interface
  improvements to optimize efficiency and accessibility.

  #### Playback Controls

  • Playback Speed Adjustment: Replaces the native speed selector with a vertical slider allowing fine-
  tuning from 0.5× to 3× in increments of 0.25×.
  • Audio Amplification (up to 200%): Integrates a volume slider that supports audio boosting up to
  200% using the Web Audio API, allowing users to amplify quiet recordings beyond standard browser
  limits.
  • Video Zoom and Pan: Includes a zoom slider (1× to 2× in steps of 0.1×) paired with a 16:9 minimap.
  Users can drag the visible area boundary on the minimap to pan around the zoomed video.
  • Silence Skipping: Features an automated silence skip toggle. When silence is detected, the
  extension increases the playback speed (configurable from 2× to 16×) and automatically restores
  standard speed when speech resumes. Volume threshold and reaction delay can be customized.
  • Keyboard Shortcuts: Adds keyboard shortcuts for player control: the Spacebar toggles play/pause,
  and the Up/Down arrow keys increase or decrease playback speed by 0.25×.

  #### Interface and UX Enhancements

  • UI Decluttering: Automatically hides the sidebar and the "follow speaker" button on startup to
  maximize the video viewing area.
  • Settings Persistence: Automatically remembers and restores the last used playback speed, volume,
  and zoom settings for subsequent recordings.
  • Estimated Remaining Time: Displays a real-world countdown next to the player's time display,
  showing the remaining time calculated at the current playback speed.
  • Recording Download: Integrates a download option directly into the Webex player page to save
  recording files locally.

  #### Settings Panel

  The configuration menu is accessible via the gear icon in the Webex player toolbar, allowing users
  to toggle the UI cleanup, settings persistence, and estimated end time features.
