About
Interceptor brings a focused HTTP and API inspection workflow into Chrome DevTools for authorized testing. What it does : - pauses matching requests so you can inspect them before they continue - lets you review request metadata, headers, body, cookies, timing, and passive API findings in one panel - lets you edit paused request headers and bodies, then continue or drop them - provides a practical API Tester to replay a captured request from the inspected page context - exports the current event log as JSON when you explicitly choose to do so What it is for : - Interceptor is built for developers, security engineers, QA engineers, and authorized white-hat testers who want a tighter request inspection workflow without leaving Chrome DevTools. What it is not : - Interceptor is not a general browsing utility and it is not a one-click attack platform. It is a scoped, developer-facing DevTools extension for manual inspection and replay during legitimate testing. Why teams use it : - faster request triage inside DevTools - more deliberate request-stage review before a call leaves the browser - cleaner evidence capture through a structured local JSON export - quick passive checks that surface common API and transport issues worth validating manually Use only on systems you own or are explicitly authorized to assess.
