  Every dependency gets a colored badge next to its version string:
  
  🔴 Major update available — a breaking change is available
  🟠 Minor update available — new features are available
  🟢 Patch update available — bug fixes are available
  ✅ Up to date — you're already on the latest version
  How it works
  
  When you open a package.json file on GitHub, the extension fetches the latest version of each package from the npm registry and injects badges inline, right next to the existing version strings.
  
  Supports both dependencies and devDependencies.
