About

Tag Figma design nodes with structured metadata for design-to-development handoff — without needing edit access to the Figma file.

What it does

Detects the currently selected Figma node while you work in figma.com
Lets you tag nodes as Widget, Banner, Header, or Footer
Stores metadata locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local)
Export/import JSON for sharing with your team
Who it's for Designers and developers who have view-only access to Figma files but need to annotate nodes with layout metadata (e.g. marking a frame as a "Premium Promo" widget).

How to use

Open a Figma design file in Chrome
Select a node on the canvas
Click the extension icon to open the side panel
Choose a node type, fill in fields, and click Save
Privacy All data stays on your device. The extension makes no network requests and does not collect personal information.
