Break the algorithmic loop. OffSignal is a retro-analog styled digital wellbeing and focus console designed to help you regain control over your screen time, tame visual distractions, and end mindless video bingeing on YouTube and Twitch. 

Built with a tactile CRT-terminal interface, OffSignal applies strict, customized filters and lockout standbys to transform the way you consume content.

📺 KEY FEATURES:

1. FOCUS WHITELIST MODE
Curb infinite scrolling. OffSignal scans and filters home feeds, sidebar recommendations, comment blocks, and navigation elements. Anything that doesn't match your user-configured whitelist of approved channels or video title keywords is blurred out and labeled with diagnostic overlay warnings.

2. ENFORCED POMODORO REST BREAKS
Protect your eyes and your schedule. At customized intervals (e.g., 25 minutes of active watch time), OffSignal will pause playback, mute audio, and lock the tab, displaying a classic SMPTE color-bar standby screen. You are locked out until the rest duration expires, encouraging you to stand up, hydrate, and stretch.

3. PROGRESSIVE AIRTIME LIMITS & VISUAL STATIC
Configure your daily allowance of feed screen time. As you approach your daily threshold, retro CRT scanlines and visual static noise will progressively distort your video feeds. Once your daily time limit is reached, the connection drops entirely, rendering a full-screen static noise signal shutdown until midnight.

4. DYNAMIC HOTFIX SELECTOR SYNC
No broken filters. Web layouts change constantly. OffSignal automatically syncs layout updates in the background anonymously from our repository, maintaining filter integrity without requiring frequent extension releases.

We implement a strict zero-data collection architecture:
• 100% Local: All whitelists, timer configurations, and daily airtime statistics are saved locally inside your browser's sandboxed storage.
• No Telemetry: No analytics trackers, no user profiles, and no external data syncs.
• Manifest V3 Compliant: Optimized for lightweight background lifecycle execution and minimal resource consumption.
