ClawdKit runs inside Claude.ai and adds the tools it doesn't ship with: conversation export in five formats, full-text search across your entire history, live usage tracking, and folder organization.


EXPORT YOUR CONVERSATIONS

Download any conversation or your entire history. Bulk exports always create a ZIP with per-conversation subfolders.

• Markdown for notes and documentation
• Obsidian with YAML frontmatter (title, date, model, tags) ready to drop into your vault
• JSON with full branch and attachment data
• Plain text for pasting into other tools
• PDF that opens in a new tab ready to save

Exported ZIPs include uploaded files, code blocks, and documents.


TOKEN COUNTER AND USAGE BARS

ClawdKit adds live bars to the Claude.ai interface so you always know where you stand.

• Token counter with a progress bar against the 200k context limit
• Cache timer showing how long the current conversation stays cached
• Session bar tracking your 5-hour usage window
• Weekly bar tracking your 7-day usage window

Usage and reset data come from Claude's own session endpoints.


BROWSE AND SEARCH

The Browse page shows every conversation in your account in a sortable table.

• Search by title or full message content
• Filter by project, model, folder, or export status
• Sort by date, name, project, or model
• Bulk export selected conversations as a ZIP
• Star individual messages as bookmarks


ORGANIZE WITH FOLDERS

Assign conversations to color-coded folders. Drag rows onto folders, use the bulk-assign dropdown, or filter the table to any folder instantly. Folder data is included in Backup and Restore.


MORE FEATURES

• Wide Mode removes Claude.ai's side margins for a full-width view
• Continue from Here copies a conversation up to any response, ready to paste into a new chat
• Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+E to export, Alt+B to open Browse
• Obsidian filename template with date and title tokens
• Backup and Restore all extension data as a single JSON file


YOUR DATA STAYS LOCAL

ClawdKit collects no personal data. All processing happens inside your browser. Your conversations are never sent to any external server.

Permissions used:
• activeTab: detects when you are on a Claude.ai tab
• storage: saves your preferences and folders locally
• scripting: re-injects scripts into open tabs after updates
• tabs: opens the Browse page
• claude.ai host access: reads conversations through your own session
