It also allows users to hide the specific chats. It doesn’t blur but completely, vanishes away the chats from the entire WhatsApp web application. It won’t even appear after searching the same number or contact name as hidden. 

To hide or unhide WhatsApp Web chats you are required to enter the password. And, if you forget the password you'll have to uninstall the extension. It allows you to hide multiple chats at once with the help of keywords. For instance, suppose you want to hide all the chats of your office colleagues and you have saved everyone's contact with the same prefix using the company’s name. Just enter the company’s name and then hit the “select all” button for multiple. 

The most advantageous feature is that it shows a number over the icon on the extension bar. This number describes the total contacts or chats that have been hidden in the WhatsApp web application.
