About

Pixel Analyzer helps ad operations, campaign trafficking, and publisher integration teams inspect and debug ad tracking pixel URLs directly in the browser.

Paste any pixel URL to instantly break it down into:
- Config/constant parameters — hardcoded values that should be the same on every impression
- Variable parameters — macro placeholders like $$GEO_COUNTRY$$ or $$TIMESTAMP$$ filled in at serve time
- Dynamic parameters — runtime-generated values like UUIDs, timestamps, and hashed strings
- Broken URL warnings — detects unencoded # characters that silently truncate pixel firing in ad serving

THREE WAYS TO USE IT

Toolbar popup — paste a pixel URL and analyze it instantly. History keeps your last 10 analyzed pixels with context to distinguish duplicates. Pop out (↗) opens the analyzer in its own resizable window.

Right-click context menu — highlight a pixel URL on any page, right-click, and choose Analyze Pixel URL. Also works on links and input fields containing pixel URLs.

DevTools panel — open the Pixel Analyzer tab in Chrome DevTools to automatically capture pixel requests as they fire on the page. Click any captured request to analyze it and see source attribution (Shopify sandbox, GTM, JS tag, or unknown).

NETWORK MONITOR SOURCE DETECTION

The DevTools panel identifies where each pixel request originated:
- Shopify — fired via the Shopify web pixel sandbox
- GTM — fired via Google Tag Manager
- gtag.js — fired via standalone gtag.js
- JS tag — fired via a direct script tag

NO ACCOUNTS, NO DATA COLLECTION

Pixel Analyzer stores nothing outside your browser. Analysis history is saved locally and can be cleared at any time. No analytics, no telemetry, no ads.
