About

Chrome eating your RAM? Tab Memory Manager shows you exactly which tabs are the
culprits — then frees the memory in one click. No accounts, no servers, no tracking.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT IT DOES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

📊 See memory per tab
A clear estimate of how much memory every open tab is using, with a live total
right on the toolbar icon. Sort by memory, idle time, domain, or "most suggested."

💤 Hibernate or close idle tabs
Free up RAM without losing your place. Hibernating keeps the tab in your strip and
reloads it when you click — far safer than closing. See exactly how much you'll save
before you act.

✨ Smart cleanup suggestions
The extension surfaces your biggest, stalest tabs — the ones safe to clear — and
frees them in one tap. It never touches the tab you're using, pinned tabs, tabs
playing audio, or domains you've whitelisted.

🗂️ Group tabs by domain
Turn a chaotic window into tidy, color-coded groups by website, instantly. One click
to group, one to undo.

↩️ Undo safety net
Closed something by mistake? Every cleanup is saved to a "Recently cleaned" list so
you can restore tabs with one click.

🌙 Built for everyone
Fast, lightweight, no frameworks. Automatic dark mode. A clean, minimal interface
that opens in under 100 ms.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Your tabs are your business. Tab Memory Manager runs entirely on your device:
• No account or sign-in
• No servers, no analytics, no tracking
• Your tab data and stats never leave your browser

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
HOW THE MEMORY NUMBERS WORK
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Stable Chrome doesn't expose exact per-tab memory to extensions, so Tab Memory
Manager shows calibrated estimates (clearly labeled "est."). If you run Chrome Dev
or Canary, you can switch on real per-tab memory from Chrome's process API in
Settings. Either way, everything stays local.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PERFECT IF YOU
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

• Keep dozens (or hundreds) of tabs open
• Notice Chrome slowing down or your fan spinning up
• Work on a laptop with limited RAM
• Want a tab suspender that's honest, private, and simple

Install it free, pin it to your toolbar, and reclaim your memory.
