About
Requstrix: API traffic in DevTools — capture, inspect, export, replay Requstrix is a Chrome DevTools extension for developers and QA who use the Network tab. Record XHR and fetch calls from any website, then inspect request headers, payload, response headers, and response body in one panel — without jumping back to the main Network tab for every detail. What you get • Live capture — Start recording; each XHR/fetch shows up with method, status, and URL. • Network-style inspector — Click a row for headers, body, and response (JSON pretty-print when it applies). You can turn the inspector off for a wider list. • Download All Curls — One ZIP with: Postman collection (v2.1), Postman environment (variables for secrets), one .curl file per request, raw request JSON, summary.json, and a short Postman import guide. • Secrets-aware export — Common auth headers and tokens are turned into environment variables where possible. • Optional AI — In Setup AI Analysis, choose OpenAI or Google Gemini, pick a model, and store your key locally. Analyze runs a single batch over captured traffic; results appear in the panel and can be included as ai_analysis.md in the next ZIP if you run analysis before exporting. Who it’s for Frontend and full-stack engineers, QA engineers reproducing flows, and anyone who wants Postman and cURL exports without rebuilding requests by hand. How to use Open DevTools on the target site → open the Requstrix panel. Click Start, use the app, then Stop. Select rows to inspect, or use Download All Curls for the full bundle. Optionally set up AI, run Analyze, then export for ai_analysis.md. Permissions Storage — Saves optional AI settings and keys only on your device. AI requests go to OpenAI or Google when you run analysis; nothing is sent to a Requstrix backend. Host permissions — Allow the extension to work while you debug sites, similar to how DevTools interacts with page context.
