Shelfy adds one thing to NotebookLM, and does it right: folders.

Other folder extensions store your data in Chrome's sync storage, which has a
100 KB quota and merge conflicts — that's how people lose their folders.
Shelfy is built the opposite way:
• Everything is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local — no quota issues)
• Every change is journaled before it is written: an interrupted save can't corrupt your data
• Automatic weekly snapshots, kept for 4 weeks
• One-click JSON export and import for manual backups
