Scrape2Go is a lightweight, universal web scraper for Chrome. Select elements on any page, auto-detect repeating patterns (titles, prices, ratings), configure pagination, and export clean data — all 100% client-side with zero operational cost.

How It Works
1. Click the Scrape2Go icon, then select "Start Scraping" to open the side panel.
2. Pick the first element (for example, product title). Pattern is auto-detected.
3. Add more fields (price, rating, reviews, etc.). Rename and reorder as needed.
4. Configure pagination (optional) and choose export format.
5. Start scraping. Watch progress. Export automatically or rescrape.

Export Formats
- CSV: Standard CSV with proper quoting.
- JSON: Structured array of objects.
- TXT: Tab-separated values.
- Excel (.xls): Excel-compatible HTML table for immediate opening in Excel or Numbers.

Permissions Explained
activeTab
Why: Start selection and interact with the current page after a user gesture.

Privacy
Scrape2Go does not collect, transmit, or sell data. All processing happens locally in your browser.

We store:
- Selections or field configuration, pagination template, and export preferences (via chrome.storage.local).
- Temporary scraped data for export (deleted when you reset or remove the extension).

No third-party services, no remote code, no tracking.

How to Use
1. Install Scrape2Go.
2. Click the extension icon → Start Scraping.
3. Select fields, configure pagination, choose export format.
4. Start scraping, then export or rescrape.
