About

A note describing a worthwhile web page page should be more than a bookmark with just URL and title. This extension extracts available metadata to make notes more useful months or years later, to remind you some browsing context and formats result for Org Mode. Since the format is a lightweight plain text markup, you are free use any other text editor as well.

To pass captures to GNU Emacs either copy notes to clipboard, install a native messaging helper application (see the project page at GitHub) or configure desktop-wide handler for org-protocol: scheme.

Do not expect perfect quality of metadata. Almost any site has its own oddities.
